Katy Perry will join the "Peppa Pig" franchise as a guest voice star in an episode from the all-new, 3-part "Peppa Pig Wedding Party Special" that is set to premiere in Spring 2024.
To celebrate the iconic animated character's 20th anniversary next year, the episodes will have little ones and their families jumping into fun, imaginative adventures that real-life wedding parties bring to loved ones everywhere.
In the special, dress maker Ms. Leopard, voiced by Perry, assists with the preparations for the first-ever wedding seen in "Peppa Pig." Mr. Bull and Mrs. Cow surprise everyone with their wedding announcement and with one day to prepare, everyone rallies around to make it memorable.
"We're incredibly thrilled to have such an A-list talent join the family-fun adventures in PEPPA PIG! As a loving parent and fan of Peppa herself, Katy Perry is a perfect fit to voice the character of Ms. Leopard," said Olivier Dumont, President of Hasbro Entertainment.
"Peppa Pig" is a British preschool animated television series that has been airing for almost 20 years. The series follows Peppa Pig, a cheeky little piggy who lives with her family - younger brother George, Mummy Pig and Daddy Pig - as well as her diverse community of friends.

Ice Spice has revealed that she is still on good terms with The 1975 frontman Matty Healy despite his recent controversial remarks about her.
In a recent interview with Variety, Ice Spice opened up about her interaction with Healy and revealed that he apologized to her "a bunch of times."
"When I had heard that little podcast or whatever, I was so confused. Because I heard 'chubby Chinese lady' or some sh*t like that, and I'm like, 'Huh? What does that even mean?' First of all, I'm thick. What do you mean Chinese? What? But then they apologized or whatever," the rapper said.
"And the whole time, I didn't really care. But that's funny because I saw him at the Jean Paul Gaultier party a couple days ago, and he was like, 'Hey, you OK?' and I'm like, 'Of course.' He apologized to me a bunch of times. We're good."
Healy created controversy after he made some racist remarks about Ice Spice during an appearance on the Adam Freidland Show in February.
However, Healy apologized later. "Ice Spice, I'm sorry," he told the audience during the 1975's concert in New Zealand before clarifying, "It's not because I'm annoyed that me joking got misconstrued. It's because I don't want Ice Spice to think I'm a dick. I love you, Ice Spice. I'm so sorry."

A public service advertisement featuring Grammy-winning superstar Megan Thee Stallion was launched earlier this week.
The PSA, "Check In On Your Friends," is part of Seize the Awkward, a national campaign that inspires young adults to talk about mental health with their friends.
In the latest PSA from the award-winning campaign from the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) and The Jed Foundation (JED) in collaboration with the Ad Council and Droga5, Megan gets real about the pressures to be strong and the importance of peer-to-peer support, reminding viewers that "It's OK to not be OK."
"I'm proud to team up with Seize the Awkward and use my platform to help normalize conversations around mental health," Megan said. "It's important that we regularly check in on our friends and family and make sure to show empathy, encouragement, and love when they're struggling. A strong support system can make a powerful difference in someone's life."
In addition to promoting SeizeTheAwkward.org, the PSA also highlights BadBitchesHaveBadDaysToo.com, Megan's website that offers a wide array of mental health resources.
"Check In On Your Friends" was directed by Ewurakua Dawson-Amoah with Greenpoint Pictures. By reflecting Megan's personal experience with feeling the need to showcase a tough exterior, the film encourages viewers to find strength in vulnerability and open up that conversation with friends.
The PSA will appear nationwide across broadcast, digital, social, out-of-home and print formats, including donated media support from Snap Inc., SXM Media and TikTok, among others.
