Grammy award-winner Lizzo recently dropped "About Damn Time" (Purple Disco Machine Remix).
Just a few days after "About Damn Time" ascended to the No. 1 spot on Billboard's Hot R&B Songs chart, Lizzo has dropped a remix version of the song after collaborating with German DJ Purple Disco Machine.
"As soon as I heard 'About Damn Time,' I knew I'd love to remix it," Purple Disco Machine said in a statement. "It is so great to hear such an amazing contemporary song by a world class artist like Lizzo, based on the same disco vibes that have inspired my own music."
The song had also reached the top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, helped by the latest viral dance trend on TikTok.

Shawn Mendes has covered Bruce Springsteen's "Dancing In The Dark" for a new campaign for fashion brand Tommy Hilfiger.
The Craig McDean and Theo Stanley-directed video, which is available on Tommy Hilfiger's YouTube channel, shows Mendes' covering the 1984 hit for the apparel chain's "Classics Reborn" campaign.
At one point, Mendes appears wearing a white top and blue jeans with a red, white, and blue bandana hanging out of his back pocket in reference to Springsteen's signature album cover photo.
"I get up in the evenin' / And I ain't got nothin' to say / I come home in the mornin' / I go to bed feelin' the same way / I ain't nothin' but tired / Man, I'm just tired and bored with myself / Hey there, baby, I could use just a little help," Mendes sings in the commercial.
"I'm partnering with @TommyHilfiger to bring more sustainable clothing to the forefront. Tommy is reimagining the classics using more sustainable materials, & has made a $1mm commitment to greening my tour. This is just the beginning," Mendes tweeted.
According to Tommy Hilfiger, the 1985 collection, which dropped on Monday, features "iconic pieces made with organic cotton, which is kinder for the planet."
"Dancing in the Dark" was the first single released from Springsteen's 1984 album Born in the USA. The song spent four weeks at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 and sold over one million singles in the U.S. The song is listed among the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame's 500 Songs that Shaped Rock and Roll.

Yungblud has announced that his new self-titled album will be released on September 2 via Locomotion/Geffen Records.
The rocker shared the news about his third studio album in a livestream in the midst of being tattooed on his ribcage by famous tattoo artist Emily Malice.
Yungblud, who was born Dominic Harrison, issued a statement on Instagram regarding the upcoming album, saying, "Everything up to this moment has been a complete explosion of uncensored expression, where I just told the truth and sang about what I felt in that exact moment."
"The difference here is that i have thought and felt this record so deeply. i went to a part of myself that I didn't know was there. i studied it, i bathed in the emotion, tried to solve the equation and come up with an answer (at least for now) from love to pain, adoration to abandonment, laughter to betrayal," he added.
The reason why he titled the album YUNGBLUD is "because nothing in my life has ever made more sense," according to the 24 year old musician.
Yungblud, who is currently on the European leg of his Life On Mars world tour, will start the North American leg on September 13, following the release of the new album.
